Our Founder: Keisha R. Morris

A Human Resources and operations professional who is passionate about providing stellar HR and operational support to start ups, nonprofit organizations, and schools, Keisha Morris has dedicated her career to supporting organizations with improving the management of their greatest assets - their people. Keisha has led an impressive career in human resources for over 20 years and provided executive-level operations for 8 years in the education, nonprofit, and small business sectors in New York City and the DC Metro area. 

 

As the CEO and founder of KRH Consulting, LLC, Keisha’s vision is to provide exceptional human resources and operations consulting services to small and midsize start up, nonprofit and education organizations. Her expertise in these areas allow her to problem solve and provide strategic solutions for streamlining HR processes, mitigating organizataional risk, ensuring HR compliance, leading in HR systems project management, training staff at all levels, organization chart restructuring, and analyzing data to aid in the decision-making process.

Before founding KRH Consulting, Keisha served as Chief Operating Officer and Director of Operations for DC charter schools, leading their Operations, Talent and Human Resources, Data, Systems and IT, Safety and Security, Family Engagement, and Development teams to improve processes and provide strong delivery of seamless operational support throughout the organization. Prior to that Keisha worked as an HR Generalist supporting several DC charter schools with full cycle HR services after leaving New York City where she was the Assistant Director of a Head Start program. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in marketing and finance from Fordham University.

Recent Accomplishments

  • Devised full-cycle recruitment strategy for organizational talent and succession planning.  

  • Developed compensation and bonus structures .

  • Improved the organizational composition to best manage the scope of duties within a more streamlined structure. 

  • Negotiated benefit packages to include comprehensive coverage for minimal increase in cost to support stronger employee retention and recruitment.

  • Devised staff evaluation templates rooted in the organization's mission statement and core values that create goals, highlight staff strengths and areas of growth, and offer constructive feedback.

  • Provided training to management teams on topics including: Having 'Tough' Conversations, The Performance Evaluation Cycle, Morale Boosting Clinic, Staff Handbook training, and more.
